About the Hollywood Training Program for Makeup Artists

Beyond the Combs’s signature Hollywood Training Program is a comprehensive training workshop designed to equip makeup artists with the skills, knowledge, and industry insights necessary to succeed in the competitive world of Hollywood entertainment.

Whether you're a recent graduate or a professional looking to level up your career in Hollywood entertainment, Beyond the Combs provides the comprehensive support you need to turn your passion into a successful career. What to Expect

A 4-week program with classes once a week, focused on working with clients with darker complexions on-set and in the trailer.

You can expect a hands-on experience learning from working artists on how to do darker-complexion makeup for the screen, theater, and live TV.

How It Works

  • Fill out an applicatio to our Hollywood Training Program, indicating if you are a hairstylist or makeup artist.

  • Rhonda, the founder of Beyond the Combs, will set up a call with you to discuss your experience and if you’re a fit for the program.

  • If you’re a fit for the program - namely that you’re in Los Angeles, are a working hairstylist or makeup artist, and have some production experience - you’ll get accepted to a program.

  • The makeup program has 4 days spread over 4 weeks.
