About the Hollywood Training Program for Hair Stylists

Beyond the Combs’s signature Hollywood Training Program is a comprehensive training workshop designed to equip aspiring hair stylists with the skills, knowledge, and industry insights necessary to succeed in the competitive world of Hollywood entertainment.

Whether you're a recent graduate or a professional looking to level up your career in Hollywood entertainment, Beyond the Combs provides the comprehensive support you need to turn your passion into a successful career. With our expert instructors, state-of-the-art facilities, and commitment to student success, BTCA is the ultimate launching pad for the next generation of Hollywood talent.

What to Expect

A 7-week program with classes once a week, focused on working with clients with textured hair, on-set and in the trailer.

You can expect a hands-on experience learning from working artists on how to do textured hair for the screen, theater, and live TV.

How It Works

  • Fill out an application for our Hollywood Training Program.

  • Rhonda, the founder of Beyond the Combs, will set up a call with you to discuss your experience and if you’re a fit for the program.

  • If you’re a fit for the program - namely that you’re in Los Angeles, are a working hairstylist or makeup artist, and have some production experience - you’ll get accepted to a program.

  • The hair program is 7 days spread over 7 weeks.
